Founded in 1991, our original name was Computer Systems Management, Inc. (CSMi). We changed our name to OnPoint Consulting, Inc. on March 18, 2005, to capture the spirit and energy of the company while better symbolizing the corporate vision and mission.
In February 2014, OnPoint was purchased by Sapient Government Services and Publicis Sapient. The acquisition of OnPoint strengthened Sapient’s footprint in the government space and further extended Sapient Government Services’ unique ability to drive innovation that helps the government keep pace in a rapidly changing environment. In February 2015, Sapient Corporation was acquired by Publicis Groupe, a French-owned Marketing, Communication, and Business Transformation company that is the third-largest marketing firm in the world.
